Kindergarten

The kindergarten program at Fairwinds Christian School seeks to educate the whole child. The children are encouraged to reach their God-given potential spiritually, academically, physically, and socially. The teachers promote a positive self-image, love of learning, and love for Christ and others.

Low student-to-teacher ratios in kindergarten help to maintain a manageable class size allowing for more individualized instruction for struggling learners. Children eligible for enrollment in kindergarten must be 5 years of age by August 31st.

The kindergarten program at Fairwinds Christian School includes the following: Bible, phonics, reading, penmanship, writing, mathematics, social studies, science, gym, recess, and hands-on activities. ABEKA curriculum is used exclusively in kindergarten.

Elementary

At Fairwinds Christian School, students in the elementary grades receive a strong academic and Biblical foundation. Through rigorous academics, engaging lessons, and hands-on activities, the students are challenged to reach their God-given potential spiritually, academically, and socially. The teachers promote a positive self-image, love of learning, and love for Christ and others.

The average class size in the elementary grades is 15 students. Relatively small and manageable class sizes enable the teachers to focus on engaging instruction and individualized instruction for struggling learners.

The elementary program at Fairwinds Christian School includes the following: Bible, phonics, spelling, reading, grammar, penmanship, writing, mathematics, social studies, science, music, art, gym, weekly chapel services, and recess. In the elementary grades, a combination of ABEKA and Bob Jones curriculum is used for core subjects; Positive Action for Christ is used for Bible instruction.

Middle School

The middle school program is designed to prepare students in 6th through 8th grade for secondary education. Academics promote confident, curious, and resourceful learners with a strong emphasis placed on intellectual engagement, critical thinking, and respect for self and others. The students are encouraged to reach their God-given potential and build Christian community through a sense of personal and social responsibility.

Class sizes in the middle and high school are kept as small and manageable as possible. Class sizes range between 15 and 20 students. 
The middle school program at Fairwinds Christian School includes the following: Bible, reading/literature, grammar, writing, mathematics, social studies, science, computer, gym, electives, and weekly chapel services. A combination of ABEKA and Bob Jones curriculum is used in the middle school.

High School

Whether on a college track or career-preparation track, high school students at Fairwinds Christian School will gain the necessary skills for success in life. Academics and mentoring by faculty and staff will challenge the students to develop a Biblical worldview and become confident, dependable leaders. FCS high school students exemplify a love for God and others in all they do.

The high school program at Fairwinds Christian School includes the following: Bible, literature, writing, mathematics, social studies, science, foreign language, career explorations, electives, and weekly chapel services. ABEKA curriculum is mainly used in the high school.

The total number of credits a student needs to graduate from Fairwinds Christian School is 25. A credit is worth 36 weeks of work, 5 periods per week (unless otherwise noted) under the supervision of a teacher. These 25 credits must include the following:
